Drawing from ActUp WA's experience in inclusive performing arts, Art of Access shares the facilitation practices, creative approaches and adaptable techniques we use to create welcoming environments where people can participate in ways that work for them.
Through interactive activities and reflection, participants explore how small shifts in language, instructions, environment, activity design and facilitation can remove barriers and invite greater participation.
Rather than prescribing a single way to be accessible, we encourage facilitators to become more responsive, flexible, and participant-led in their practice.Participants leave with practical strategies they can adapt to their own communities and settings.
