Through teaching improvisational drama skills, including flexibility, decision making, and imagination, actors of all abilities experience the fun of performance and improvisation.

What do we offer at ActUp?

  • Weekly Improvisation based classes, where Actors create their own stories through FUN drama games
  • We teach the basics of performance, such as characterisation and acting techniques
  • Amazing Holiday Workshops for adolescents aged 12-17
  • We help build actors confidence, imagination, and creativity through promoting individual self-expression
  • We are also looking to expand into offering private singing lessons and musical theatre workshops!

ActUp is a business which brings drama lessons to children and adults with disabilities, a concept unique to the NDIS sector. ActUp is run by a close-knit team which aims to bring confidence and energy, helping children and adults discover their creative side in a safe space. We believe drama and perfomance is crucial to ALL people, as it helps develop empathy, confidence and friendships.
Family & Community
ActUp values family and community, therefore parents and support workers are more than welcome to watch lessons which run every SUNDAY afternoon, whilst looking to expand to other days.
